Join Andrea for fun filled sessions and learn your machines functions and editing capabilities. Learn how to troubleshoot common issues and customize designs with helpful tips and tricks. Embroidered success starts with pairing designs with fabrics, using correct stabilizers & threads, as well as securely hooping your items. Each class introduces new techniques and are designed for beginners and anyone who would enjoy learning more about machine embroidery.
Basics of Hooping and Stabilizers
Hooping fabrics and selecting stabilizers are essential considerations! Understanding both will ensure your fabrics are supported during the stitching and ensures designs stitch out neatly. In this class we will practice 2 popular hooping methods, use 3 to 4 different stabilizers and explore our machines built-in monogramming fonts. Sounds like fun to me! Learn how to select your Initial, center it in your hoop for perfect placement, and stitch out. Kit includes 1 flat and 1 looped towel, thread and stabilizers. Kit Fee $20.00 to be given directly to teacher.
